Based on senior Treasury officers, the 5 finalists embrace present Fed officers Michelle Bowman, Vice Chair for Supervision, and Board Member Christopher Waller. The opposite candidates introduced are Nationwide Financial Council Director Kevin Hassett, former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh, and BlackRock Chief Funding Officer Rick Rieder.

The Treasury Division plans to carry a second spherical of interviews with all candidates within the coming weeks.
