The platform creates digital data for manufacturers and governments looking for dependable environmental knowledge. It turns real-world restoration actions into immutable certificates on the blockchain.
The system points Digital Restoration Certificates, usually referred to as Plastic Credit. These are recorded on the Cardano blockchain to make sure transparency and stop false claims. The blockchain’s low-energy design aligns with the platform’s sustainability targets.
Plastiks verifies the work of restoration organizations like waste cooperatives and recyclers. It checks paperwork resembling invoices and transport data. After validation, it points non-tradable NFT certificates that retailer all proof on-chain.
The undertaking obtained funding from Cardano’s group treasury, Venture Catalyst. This helps the event of open reporting instruments and infrastructure.
Plastiks additionally works with the United Nations Growth Programme. A pilot program in Armenia is testing real-time monitoring of plastic restoration.
