Yuga Labs settles Bored Ape NFT lawsuit, ending fight over alleged copycat tokens

Yuga Labs has settled its lawsuit in opposition to artist Ryder Ripps and Jeremy Cahen over their alleged copycatting of its non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from the Bored Ape Yacht Membership assortment.

The settlement ends a two-year dispute over whether or not the pair’s venture, which reused Bored Ape imagery, crossed the road from satire into trademark infringement.
