On April 30, 2025, Malaysia launched the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI), a step in its digital transformation journey geared toward unifying fragmented digital ecosystems and making blockchain-based companies accessible to all. Developed by MIMOS Berhad and MY E.G. Providers Berhad, and powered by the Zetrix public layer-1 blockchain, MBI is designed to facilitate seamless cross-border transactions and improve interoperability throughout numerous blockchain networks. The initiative is a part of Malaysia’s Nationwide Blockchain Roadmap and goals to help a variety of functions, together with provide chain traceability and digital identification verification.
