The city of Plattsburgh in New York state held a public listening to to debate a brief land use moratorium for operations together with AI information facilities and crypto mining.
In a Thursday listening to, Plattsburgh Mayor Wendell Hughes and the widespread council heard from members of the general public a couple of legislation proposed to impose a short-term ban on land use associated to “sure excessive power computing services,” together with cryptocurrency mining and synthetic intelligence.
